We’re here when you need maximum strength. Our gymnasium and heavy-duty grilles, featuring all-welded, heavy-gauge materials, are well-suited for applications that must withstand strong impact and heavy foot traffic. That includes gymnasiums, factories, warehouses, public buildings and other rigorously used facilities.

Standard construction

Steel, stainless steel or aluminum grilles and registers for applications requiring heavy-duty construction to avoid damage, to withstand abuse, or to handle foot traffic are available in a broad range of configurations, sizes, and shapes. Face plate, sleeve and support bars are made from heavy-gauge material. The 1/8" X 1/2" blades are placed on 1/2" centers and penetrate the support bars. Blade angles of 0, 15 and 40 degrees are available except for floor grilles where only zero degrees is available.

Size Availability

Model GHD and CHD grilles are generally available in a single section with a maximum width of 96" or a maximum height of 96", with a maximum total grille area 32 square feet. In some cases, other limitations may apply. Large single piece grilles may have multiple core sections mounted into a single faceplate/sleeve assembly depending on size. Larger grilles can be made in multiple sections for field assembly. Additional information on larger grilles is available from the factory.

Model FHD grille sizes are subject to loading requirements and are more limited. Contact us to determine the limitations for your application.
