2023 KEES Year in Review

Hello!

The past year was filled with exciting developments and achievements. We distributed a comprehensive sales kit, we released an efficient six-sided drop box diffuser and our design/layout team moved into a new office space. We’re proud of everything we accomplished but we also owe a big thank you to customers and partners like you, whose support makes all our successes possible.

Providing Product Knowledge and Resources

We realize that sales reps have an awful lot on their plate, so we developed a practical resource to make their job easier. The result was the KEES sales kit which includes our corporate brochure, sixteen informative product brochures and a set of PowerPoint sales slides. The kit, which is also available digitally, is designed to help reps become familiar with and promote our products. We hosted webinars and held one-on-one meetings with reps around the country to go over the full 16 product lines, discuss custom solutions and review the resources available on our sales rep page. This is all part of our ongoing commitment to provide the highest level of customer service.

Offering Innovation and Customization

Each new product we develop reflects our commitment to innovation and to enhancing air distribution in facilities of all sizes. Our latest, the six-sided drop box diffuser, is for large spaces like retail stores, warehouses and production facilities. As industry leaders, we’re proud to be the sole manufacturer offering a compatible six-sided drain pan.

In other product-related news, we now have three risk-resistant products—a security grille, linear slot diffuser and “V” passageway security grille—on the New York State Office of Mental Health Patient Safety Standards list. That inclusion underscores our commitment to ensure the safety and comfort of patients, staff and visitors in behavioral health facilities.

KEES has also long been recognized for our capability to provide custom solutions. Take our pipe portals, for instance. While other manufacturers are limited to specific pipe sizes, we offer portals in any combination of sizes and quantities.

Delivering Exceptional Solutions

In 2023, KEES partnered with customers to bring innovative HVAC solutions and aesthetically pleasing designs to a wide range of highly visible projects in unique locations. These include a make-up air unit for an indoor water park in the Wisconsin Dells, curved brass linear bar grilles for the historical rotunda at the Detroit Zoo, and six-sided drop box diffusers for one of PepsiCo’s largest production facilities. We’re grateful to be selected for all of these projects.

Celebrating Our Team

Our employees are the reason KEES is so highly regarded in the industry. In 2023, we continued to invest in their development and also celebrated their milestones. We bid farewell to former Plant Manager Eric Korb, who retired after 40 years with KEES, and former Office Manager Holly Welsch, after a 23-year career. We’re grateful for their many years of service. As for new beginnings, Joe Scherer was promoted to Plant Manager and Holly Gahagan joined the team as our new HR Manager.
