EXHAUST ONLY BACKSHELF AND OVEN (PROXIMITY) GREASE EXHAUST HOODS

Backshelf and oven (proximity) hoods provide for exhaust only grease exhaust without any provision for introducing make-up air into the kitchen. Backshelf hoods may be utilized for applications where an overhead canopy is not desirable or practical (such as a low ceiling height). Backshelf hoods are not recommended for high heat and grease producing equipment or open flame equipment such as charbroilers.

STANDARD CONSTRUCTION

Exhaust only grease exhaust hoods are constructed of 18 gauge, type 304 stainless steel with a satin polish. All exterior seams are continuously welded, liquid tight, and are ground and polished to match the original finish of the material. The hoods are NSF listed and meet the requirements of NFPA 96. The hoods include a full length pitched grease trough with removable grease cup, aluminum baffle type filters, and factory installed collars.

Construction/submittal drawings are available in PDF format, with some drawings in standard (read only) and form (text boxes) format.  You will need Acrobat Reader to view and print standard format or Adobe Acrobat to utilize text boxes.  Acrobat Reader is available at no charge from the Adobe Website.  You will be able to follow the links below to open and view.  Use the back arrow to return to this page.
