GYM AND HEAVY DUTY GRILLES

STANDARD CONSTRUCTION

Steel, stainless steel or aluminum grilles and registers for applications requiring heavy duty construction to avoid damage, withstand abuse, or are suitable for foot traffic are available in a broad range of configurations, sizes, and shapes. Face plate, sleeve and support bars are 14 gauge material, blades are 1/8" X 1/2", 1/2" O.C., penetrating the support bars and welded to the sleeve. Blade angles of 0, 15 and 40 degree are available (floor grilles available 0 degree only)

OPTIONS AND ACCESSORIES

Available options include: extended sleeve, optional finishes, opposed blade dampers, frame without mounting screw holes, concealed mounting option (0 and 15 degree blades only) sub-frame, security screws, debris or insect screen, heavier gauge construction, and special shapes (round, triangular, etc.)

MATERIALS AND FINISHES

Gym and core grilles are available in steel, stainless steel or aluminum. Floor grilles are available in steel or stainless steel. Steel finishes include primer, white or custom color enamel, or epoxy. Stainless steel finishes include mill, satin polish, primer, white or custom color enamel, or epoxy. Aluminum finishes include mill, primer, white or custom color enamel, epoxy, and clear or color anodized.

SIZE AVAILABILITY

Heavy duty grilles are generally available in a single section with a maximum width of 96" or a maximum height of 96", with a maximum total grille area 32 square feet. In some cases, other limitations may apply. Large single piece grilles may have multiple core sections mounted into a single faceplate/sleeve assembly depending on size. Larger grilles can be made in multiple sections for field assembly. Additional information on larger grilles is available from the factory.
