Contact the office for more information on positions which are currently available: MANUFACTURING/PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT
ENGINEER. TOTAL RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 5 years. MINIMUM
EDUCATION LEVEL: BS Engineering. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Proficiency with
SolidWorks and AutoCAD, experience with DriveWorks and/or implementing
an ERP system/Product Configurator a plus. The primary initial
responsibility will be to lead an implementation team for a new Product
Configurator & ERP system. Other & subsequent responsibilities
will include: (1) Maintain and update the Configurator and ERP system,
(2) Identify potential cost improvements in current products and
production
methods, propose and implement specific improvement projects including
work method changes, tooling and/or fixtures, etc., (3) Develop new
products from conception thru manufacturing including production
methods, tooling, fixtures, etc., (4) Perform cost analysis
(manpower/machinery/tooling/methods) of existing and new products, (5)
Perform air flow testing and develop performance data on new and
existing products, (6) Provide technical and quotation assistance to
our sales representatives on an as needed basis. Experience with sheet
metal fabrication and "hands on" projects; working directly with
tooling, equipment, shop floor personnel, etc. are requirements for
this position. Experience with HVAC products development is highly
desirable. CAD Designer: Full Time Position
Relevant Experience: 5 years
Must be proficient with SolidWorks, familiarity with DriveWorks is a
plus. Good understanding of logic statements.
The primary responsibilities include:
(1) Creating solid models of existing products
(2) Identifying improvements in the designs for better
manufacturability and/or material utilization
(3) Developing design automation to create bills of material for the
shop floor
(4) Developing configuration automation for sales support. CAD Intern: Part Time Position
Relevent Experience: None required other than course work noted below
Must have taken courses in SolidWorks with “A” or “B” average
The primary responsibilities include:
(1) Creating solid models of existing products under the guidance of
the CAD team
(2) Developing computer automation. |
